Born in 1978 in Cuxhaven and raised in Bremerhaven, N.O.Madski is a Germany-based artist who began his journey into graffiti art in the 1990s. From the start, he was captivated by the challenge of crafting unique letterforms, leading to a personal exploration of style-writing. Today, he is internationally recognised for his intricate letter and mural creations, where his designs resemble elaborate mechanical constructions, often evoking the complexity of machinery.

A purist at heart, N.O.Madski places aesthetic exploration at the core of his work. His reinterpretation of letterforms moves beyond traditional graffiti, introducing abstractions that verge on calligraphic or even cabbalistic symbols. Through layering, transparency, and meticulous design, his works open portals to new dimensions, offering viewers fresh perspectives on form and meaning.

Having transcended the confines of graffiti subculture, his work merges art and design, transforming letters into symbols of ambiguity and depth. Based in Hamburg since 2001, N.O.Madski is a member of Glorious5Artists, the “Outbreak” collective, and the artist group KAYA. His creations, while reminiscent of graffiti, are best understood as complex visual worlds that challenge traditional definitions of the art form.
