Overview:

We seek a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, digital marketing, and the inner workings of an art gallery. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and promoting our exhibitions and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, etc.)
  • Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages promptly
  • Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote exhibitions, events, and artist features
  • Collaborate with the gallery team to create multimedia content, including photos, videos, and graphics
  • Track and analyze social media performance and provide insights and recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant
  • Support other marketing and communication efforts as needed

Requirements:

  • Passion for art and a keen interest in the art industry
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their features
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Art, Fashion, or a related field is preferred
