Gabriel Moreau’s practice centres on curating new experiences for the post-digital era, exploring the shifting ethos of our digital footprint through tangible, visual encounters. His work seeks to restore the concept of aura to image-based creations, fostering visceral connections with the viewer without relying on a prescribed key to unlock meaning. By freeing the image from traditional modes of figuration, Moreau delves into the digital image’s lifespan and its potential within three-dimensional, physical space. Moving between the "inside window looking in" and the "outside window looking out" of the contemporary internet experience, he blurs these boundaries to establish a space where liminality and transformation can flourish.
